About William Fonda
Welcome to the toolkit. William Fonda is a dedicated educator at Lewis-Palmer District 38 and the primary creator of the Digital Technology Toolkit: a resource designed to bridge the gap between classroom technology and student success.
Background & Expertise
William Fonda’s professional journey is grounded in over 20 years of experience as an executive in the medical software field. In that role, he led initiatives that combined complex technology with practical, real‑world needs, building solutions that supported accuracy, safety, and efficiency. He now brings that same strategic, technology‑driven mindset to education, helping students and families navigate a digital‑first learning environment with clarity and confidence.
His approach centers on fostering robust digital citizenship. William creates learning environments where safety and ethics are paramount, guiding students through the complexities of online interactions and digital footprints. His goal is to empower young learners to navigate the web with confidence, integrity, and critical thinking.
Outside of work, William is a proud dad to three boys, ages 9, 13, and 15, and shares his home with two energetic Labrador retrievers. Family life keeps him grounded in the real‑world challenges and opportunities that technology brings into households, and it shapes his belief that digital skills should support healthy, balanced family routines, both online and offline.
